Yoga Flow Series – Going Beyond the Practice to Principles with Stephanie Willis – July 28 and August 4, 11, 2018
Would you like to take your yoga practice deeper? Would you like to go beyond the physical practice to learn some of the principles of yoga?
In this 3-part workshop, you will get an introduction to yoga and guided breath to discover its role in managing pain and reducing stress. You will be guided through a variety of breathing exercises, intentional relaxation through the adaptation of poses as well as learning the principles of yoga and how they can be applied to daily life. Each concept below will be interwoven into each 60 minute practice to learn both the poses and the principles and philosophies behind the practice of yoga. If you are wanting to go beyond the physical practice to learn more about the philosophy of yoga this is the workshop for you.
- Week 1: Explore “What is Yoga?”
- Week 2: Discover the “Harmless Process.”
- Week 3: Learn about “Honest Application.”

Minimum 4 students – Maximum 12 students
Bring a mat, water and notebook and pen. Handouts will be provided. Wear your yoga clothes.
