In this workshop you will learn basic hip anatomy and be introduced to some of the many muscles that coordinate their movements. You will learn self-care massage techniques for your hips using the acclaimed Yoga Tune Up® Therapy Balls. Finally you will be led through a 90-minute yoga class chock-full of poses that specifically target, open and challenge your hips from every conceivable direction.
- Note #1: This is NOT a flow-type class and does not include pushups, BUT you can expect to sweat!
- Note #2: If you have had hip replacement surgery, please confirm with your doctor that you are permitted to do internal/external rotation and adduction/abduction of the hip or hips that were operated on.
