Chair Yoga for Office Heroes Everyday Techniques with Desire Hendricks – July 13, 20, 27 and August 3, 2018
You work hard to meet the challenges of your job. You also have the aches and pains to prove it. As an office hero(ine); working behind a desk, the cost of your efforts and your victories are tired eyes, tense neck and shoulder muscles, an achy low back, and more. Chair yoga offers a simple and accessible way to introduce movement in your day to relieve some of the following issues:
- Eye fatigue
- Neck and shoulder tension
- Low back discomfort
- Achy wrists and fingers
- Poor posture
- Poor circulation (especially in the legs and feet)
- Low energy
- Poor concentration
You will learn simple yoga postures, stretches, and breathing exercises which relieve the common effects of working at a desk. Everything you learn will be something you can do seated in a chair or standing using the chair as support. Spend 4 short Fridays over the lunch-time break and start feeling better – Sign-Up today!
- Week 1: Eyes, Neck, and Shoulders
- Week 2. Arms, Legs, and Twists
- Week 3. Standing Postures, Props, and other tools
- Week 4: Bringing it all together
